Buenos Aires?
(In addition to Italy) We are also considering Buenos Aires for May.

if nobody answers that has personal experience, I can ask my brother and SIL any questions you might have. they studied there about 4 years ago.

I have been there, but it was almost 7 years ago. DH is from Argentina and his siblings still live in Buenos Aires. It is a beautiful city with a lot of great restaurants and it is cheap because of the exchange rates.
ETA - We are looking to go at the end of the year.
