good one!
I am eagerly awaiting nicer weather for a day trip to Great Adventure with DH.
Also I would like to go to the Bronx Zoo or Mastic CT for the Aquarium.
Even just walking around a museum or Central Park sounds loevly right about now!

I like to look up things within a few hours of NY on here: The Escape Maker
They usually have tons of towns and ideas!
Dh and I were gonna do a trip to PA dutch country but decided to go elsewhere--gut it seems to be very cost effective and few hours away!

dh and i went to the saybrook area of connecticut a few weeks ago overnight and had a great time. we stayed at the copper beech inn, just adorable. if you go, splurge and eat at their fine dining restaurant. worth every penny.

DH and I went to Mystic, CT over February break and had a great time. We stayed 2 days, went shopping, saw the aquarium and the seaport...it was nice and not that expensive of a trip.
