There's a place on Larkfield Road in East Northport - north of the RR tracks. I haven't used them but they did a good job on my friend's dress.

I went to her tonight (I live a few blocks away) but she said she is so swamped with proms and weddings she can't make mine by the end of April. I know I should have done this sooner.  Thanks though - I think I will go back to her sometime b/c the dresses in her shop were so pretty.

My sister said for basic stuff - there is a place next to Skipper's, next to Maroni's in Northport Village.

I like her for alterations, but I don't know if I'd trust her to make a dress. It's for my sister's wedding. I bought a dress on bridesave, hate it, and can't return it. I can wear whatever I want as long as it's navy.
I have a sage-green dress I love from another wedding and I want the same exact thing in navy; wish I could just dye it
