Did anyone get a UTI after the HSG?

Did anyone get a UTI after the HSG?
I had an HSG on Friday, and now I feel like I'm getting a UTI. I havent had one in years, but boy I remember this horrible feeling. I bought the cranberry pills and called the RE, but was just wondering if this happened to anyone else?

Did your RE give you antibiotics to take after the procedure? I know my RE gave me antibiotics to take to prevent infection. Hopefully your RE can prescribe you something before you get a full on UTI....

Yes, she gave me Doxycycline, which I had hoped would prevent it. Ugh, I usually go though such great lengths to avoid UTIs and now this..

I am sorry.. I know they stink.. drink a lot of water and those cranberry pills.. hopefully you can fight it....
