Bake sale- w/o having to bake?
The school I work for actively participates in raising $$$ for the March of Dimes...
Each week we have different fundraisers, and this year Id like to have a "bake sale". I really want the kids/classes to make the "baked goods" we raffle- since it is their fundraiser...problem is- we have NO OVEN...
What are some things we can bake, w/o baking...
I was thinking... "dirt cups", "choc. covered pretzels" (we do have a microwave and I figured the kids could dip and decorate) "jello shapes", I was also thinking of making a bunch of cupcakes and letting a few classes decorate them...
Any other ideas???
ETA- the children are between 2-5yrs old...

Rice Krispie treats? Do you have a stove top?

I know there's a lot of those "no bake" desserts you can pick up.

You could make fudge if you have a microwave.

Fudge -- 3 cups sugar -- 3/4 cup (1-1/2 sticks) butter -- 1 small can (5 oz.) evaporated milk -- 1 pkg. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips -- 1 jar (7 oz.) marshmallow creme -- 1 tsp. vanilla
Place butter in large microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 1 min. or until melted. Add sugar and milk; mix well. Microwave 5 min. or until mixture begins to boil, stirring after 3 min. Stir well, scraping down side of bowl. Microwave 5-1/2 min., stirring after 3 min. Let stand 2 min. Add chocolate and marshmallow creme; stir until completely melted. Add vanilla; stir well.
Pour immediately into 13x9 inch pan; spread to form even layer. Let stand at room temperature 4 hours or until completely cooled; cut into 1-inch squares. Store in tightly covered container at room temperature.
Makes about 3 lbs.

What about those two burner thingys that you plug into the wall. College kids use them. Can you even bring that to the school? That is what a teacher of mine did in 6th grade to make something. Ahhhh.... memories. Always remembered those cookies and really wish I had gotten that recipe. Although as an adult, it might taste like azz.
