I can't remember the exact place, but I always love White Water rafting. This way there's something to do one of the days you're camping and so much fun.

there are a few places in this area that are all very nice.
one of my favorite places to camp is in Watkins Glen, near Seneca Lake.
the trails are awesome and the area is really nice.
it IS a drive...but worth it for a few days.
there is a website you can go on to check out campgrounds all over the place, called Reserve America I've used it often with great success.
I LOVE camping!!!!

Re: lets talk camping!
I know there's a place Strawberry Lake or Park, something like that, in CT. I went as a kid and had a blast. You can rent RVs or bring tents and they have a lot of organized activites. I would think anywhere in the Poconos would be fun too. You can go rafting, horseback riding, paint ball, golf and they have a lot of outlets- and I "think" a new casino.

I believe it's Strawberry Fields. A lot of our friends go their with their kids and LOVE it there.
