breaking up a long run?
I read someone mention this in RW (it was a little blurb, not an article)...they run ~75% in the morning and then the rest later in the day.
what do you think about this? I saw an open house in my neighborhood 2 miles into my run and since we're selling, I like to see what other houses look like, so I stopped in.
I finished the next 7 after a 5-10 minute break. Do you think that's OK?

Absolutely!!! I think it's also a great way to get in daily miles when you don't have the time to get them in all at once.
If you were training for a marathon, I think it's a different story since that is more about getting in the long runs for endurance, you know?

Re: breaking up a long run?
I read on RW its fine to split up the milage twice a day. I think professional atheletes do it. I havent done but as long as your clocking the milage it should be fine.
