lip remedies
any recommendations for really chapped lips. its awful..they're dry, chapped, peel all day.
i've tried caramex, burts bees, nivea, chapstick, vasoline..nothing helps!!

have you tried brushing them with vaseline and a toothbrush?
When I was on Accutane - I had severe dry lips - nothing worked for me - so I exfoliated the heck out of them.
I was so fed up with my lips that I bought a pack of facial loofahs - wet my lips, put some vaseline on the loofahs and SCRUBBED. It hurt like hell but it worked for me. Plus - b/c of all the scrubbing - my lips were red and plump.  That might be too extreme for you, so try some vaseline on a toothbrush and brush your lips.

I use the lip wax from mario badescu. My lips were so chapped until I got this. I love it.

Hmm...i use a lot of their skincare products..

Mary Kay has that Satin lips, its a scrub for the lips to get all the dead skin off then a lip balm to make the feel like a baby's ***!! no joke! I love it! I also love aquaphor!!

There's $$$$ stuff from Sephora ($22.50)- which is a lot for what it is..... but I think it works nicely  I forget the brand but it's called Sugar and if u go there and ask for it from one of the girls, they will know what u are talking about.
I like to use it at night, because it has a "vaseline" texture so it's not great for putting on before lipstick. Usually. I put it on right before going to sleep and I find it helps!

i carry a little one in my purse - straight up yellow tub with a blue cap, old school vaseline! it's great!

try to use only the vaseline and exfoliate the lips a little first - get the dead skin off and put some on - a thick layer. all the other stuff you mentioned has drying agents in them - like alcohol and stuff. so, if you use a gloss for shine along with vaseline the vaseline doesn't work as good. try it alone for two weeks straight and exfoliate first - you should be OK.

Honestly- the best thing is to take a lip balm in a container- like carmex- and mix it with sugar. The Sugar is an exfoliant and clears away the excess skin. I just put it on, wipe with a tissue if its really bad- and my lips are great for the rest of the day.
