Ethiopian Food?

I had ethiopian for the first time tonight and i cannot get that bread taste out of my mouth!

Bleh!

I liked the shrimp i had, but i don't know if i was too liberal with the bread or what, but i'm now having ramen to try to mask the taste.

Are you only supposed to use just a little bread? Has anyone else had ehiopian before?

I had it in Boston. Supposedly we went to this awesome place there. I mean we waited almost an hour for a table...that is how good it was supposed to be. I was with DH's friends and I was the only one who hated it. The bread made me feel like I would gag, and the whole eating with your hands thing...
I did not like it and everyone told me that if I did not like this place, then I flat out don't like ethiopian food.
As far as the bread, from what I experienced at this restaurant the bread was the only "utensil" that you had to eat with besides your hands. Your supposed to pick up the food with the bread and eat it together. So no, I don't think you OD'ed on the bread. IMHO the bread is NASTY.
