Re: Which one would you pick?
I am also starting IVF soon and thought about accupunctiure. Everyone is different, but I know the idea of having it done would make me more nervous than not having it done so I have decided against it. So, my advice to you is do whatever relaxes you.

Re: Which one would you pick?
While a massage would be relaxing, acupuncture has been proven in some studies to increase success rates for IVF.
I would do acupuncture.

I would choose acupuncture. I found it very relaxing...I fell asleep almost every single time. I started looking forward to my "naps". It hasn't helped me get a BFP yet though.

Re: Which one would you pick?
For me accupucture was not relaxing at all. First off I hate laying on my back...to me its not comfortable (even when I lay out and tan, my back is always darker than my front). For me all I did was lay there on the hard table with needles stuck in me and wait for my half hour to be up...I would much rather have had a massage.
P.S. I asked my RE about the effectiveness of acupuncture and IF and he said while he believes it has many medical uses (he goes to acupuncture for his knee and it works) he has seen no study to show that it improves female infertility. Apparently there ARE some studies that indicate that it can help with sperm counts.
I say you go with what makes you feel most comfortable.

I feel the same way! I tried accupuncture, but it was just not for me and I did not find it relaxing.
