for those of u who donate to shelters

i just bought a handful of $1 small water bowls in their $1 bins to bring to the shelter! they had $1 toys too which i grabbed.....they had pretty good sales on some dog/cat food & treats...so i bought some of that too! shampoo was on sale as well! i spent a lot of $ but i got a lot fo stuff! i was happy to get sales so i could buy more!! just thought i'd share in case anyone will be going soon to drop off donations! some beds were on sale as well!

i have only donated actual money and my time before but getting supplies and stuff is a nice way to donate too!

Thanks for the heads up !!!!!!
I have been bringing supplies to Kent animal shelter for the past 3 years.
I usually ask people at work to donate blankets towels etc.
I'll also pick up a few things from the store as well.
This is great to know.
Especially the toys. It is a given that animasl need neccesities like food, blankets etc... but most people forget that they are so lonely and toys would be great to keep them busy.
