Dh and I went to Coolfish last night (in syosset) and they have a nice "stimulus package" price fixed meal - $29.95 - and you get a free glass of white or Red wine (sorry I don't know remember the brands b.c I'm pregnant and can't drink) but DH had I think a chardonnay (they didn't charge me for my non-alcoholic drink though). Then you get a 3 course meal. If you aren't familiar with this place it has been around for a while now - I have been going there for years. They were just written up as a hidden Gem in newsday.

Some of the items on the apps were:
salads, mussels, pork quesdillas, soup.

Entrees - some of the choices were:
Mahi mahi
Osso bucco of pork
chicken dish
sliced steak
there were also some other fish choices, and some pasta choices.

Desserts:
Chocolate hazelnut mouse, cheesecake, sorbets and ice cream, and I think there was an angel cake with pears and a wine reduction.

The dinner is Sun-Fri 5-10pm and Sat between 4 and 6 (So you have to order by 6pm on Sat.).
