Can you put sneakers in the washing machine?

Can you put sneakers in the washing machine?
I would like to get the inside of the sneakers clean. Can you do this, or they'll fall apart? If so, what cycle should I put them on? In the dryer?

i think u can but im not sure if u can dry them,they def shrink

I put sneaks in the washer all the time. I usually throw in two rag towels to tone down the noise and eat some of the detergent.
I wash it on regular cycle.
I throw mine in the dryer on regular cycle. You can put them on the racks too (that come with your dryer).

I put my son's sneakers in the washer and dryer. I put them in an old pillowcase and threw them in the washer.
