Avoid US Airways like the plague

What a horrible airline they are, yesterday we flew from the UK to Fort Lauderdale Florida and the trip to 20 hours, 3 flights, and NOT ONCE did they apologise for the delay that cause the mayhem in the first place. The first thing the check in guy said to me was, "First thing, I don't actually work for US Airways..." and the staff were all rude and inconsiderate on all 3 flights.

We left our house in the UK at 8.30 am (thats 3.30 am US time) and got to our hotel at about 8 am UK time (thats 3.30 am US time) thats 24 hours door to door....with a 3 year old!

Never again!!!

ITA. I have not used US Airways since a rather disappointing trip to Vegas. I was 20 weeks preggo and booked seats online to be with my mom and sister. When we checked in they would not honor the seats even though we were ones of the first to check in. I ended up sitting at the window seat separated from my mom and sis. The people next to me tried to cop and an attitude when I needed to pee even after I told them I was pg. The flight attendants were no help.

On the flight home, we were seated together in the last row at the back of the plane. The flight attendants station was directly behind us and they were talking about the most inappropriate stuff including the last time they got laid.

I wrote a letter and got vouchers. I never used the vouchers because I refused to fly them again.

I'm sorry you had such a terrible flight. I would definitely write them.

Have only used US airways for short flights and have never had any problems.

Hope you are having a wonderful time in FL! How is the hotel btw?

I flee them in January and it was the worst experiance of my life. It took me 2 days to get to Jamaica and lost a chunk of my trip. They tried to pretend that it is everyones elses fault. There excuse was that they did not have a crew???????? I knew about this trip for 8 months how come they did not???????

oh yeah and they are the ones now offering soda for free again.

Not worth it.
