It's been a difficult few days, I could use some hugs.
We put my cat Phoebe to sleep yesterday.  She was 10, and I thought she'd be around a while longer- she is also the youngest of my 3 cats. A month ago I took her to the vet for what I thought was a random eye problem and it ended up being a brain tumor. The last day was very hard and I think I waited too long to put her down. 
Today Gatsby,who is 12, began peeing out of his box. There was blood in it. I am just back from the emergency vet, and it seems like he will be ok but DH and I aren't getting too comfortable.
And to top it off I dropped the envelope with his x-ray and other info in the parking lot at the emergency clinic. I am waiting for someone to call me to tell me if it's been found. The place isn't close by or I'd go see if I could find it.
So I'm feeling kind of wrung out right now.
