Ok, silly question
So I am waiting for my cycle to start so I can go on Clomid and have my 1st IUI. (Of course I hope I'm pg now, but in case I'm not at least I have a plan.)
Here's the ?... My dr told me today that they will monitor the folicles. "Folicles" are mentioned on here a lot. What are they?

Re: Ok, silly question
Follicles are kind of like your body's version of bubble wrap In that an egg grows in the follicle. When they trigger you (or when you ovulate) your follicles release the eggs that are in them. HTH!

Thanks. It's funny bc they explained the process to me very well, but I'm so used to hearing the word "follicle" on here that I forgot that I had no idea what it meant!
