Anyone see Oprah today?
I just saw it on Ch 55. I just caught like the last 1/2 hour but they showed a woman 5 months pregnant who was a heroine addict and she also had a 4 year old. She has been doing heroine for 7 years.
I was so angry. I was thinking of all of us struggling to have a child and there is this piece of trash shooting heroine as she is pregnant

ughhh...sounds like my aunt. my mom's youngest sister had 5 kids..all with different men, and practically raised by foster care/govt b/c she was in and out of jail.
the 5th child was taken from her at birth and adopted. she was born addicted to crack.
makes me sick...

I see, hear, and think about this all day long. One of life's many mysteries...why do loving, deserving people have to suffer? We will never know what the reason is.

I started to watch it and after 15 minutes of watching this woman shoot up and discussing her pregnancy I turned it off... I just couldn't watch that and like everyone has basically been saying - as we sit here and struggling with IF here's this woman 5 months along and shooting up!! Made me sad, mad and just sick to my stomach...

I've always said it pizzes me off that a crack ***** can get pregnant and I can't.

I belong to another group that actually talks about the "crack method" for conception, like if I become a crack addict, maybe I can get pregnant. Guess we're all a bit cynical these days!!!

There was a lady on the train about a month ago with a baby who was about 9 months old. Every time the baby yelled, "talked" or made any noise, the mother yelled, "SHUT UP! JUST SHUT UP NOW!"
Frustrating!

It really pisses me off when I hear stories like this. An old friend of mine drank during her first pregnancy & did much worse during her 2nd & 3rd pregnancies. None of the 3 kids were born with any defects. This girl is fertile as hell & even had 2 abortions. We are no longer friends.
