and as far as elminating jobs....maybe they wont hire more cashiers BUT there were a ton of people walking around the floor giving a hand to anyone that needs help scanning. So right there, they have created new jobs.
Also, there will ALWAYS be people that will want a cashier to righ them out.  that will never go away!!
I'm not sure if those people are S&S employees though. They might be Motorola employees. When our store first got them, I asked the woman that gave the demonstration how to get the discount for the green bags and she said "Oh, I don't know, I'm not a S&S employee."
the people I saw have S&S name tags on
and when you check out, before you finish your order, go to the coupon section on the screen and there will be a button for a discount on the bring your own bags. I just do it as many times as bags I used
