My first RE appointment
I have my first appointment with a RE next Friday. I was diagnosed years ago with a prolactinoma that increases my prolactin level - it sort of tricks my body into thinking its pregnant and therefore I don't ovulate. I am taking a medication to lower the prolactin and will see on Monday if the levels have returned to normal yet. I haven't had my period since stopping the pill in September.
Any advice on what to expect?

Re: My first RE appointment
The first appointment for me and my husband was just sitting and talking to the doctor about our options as far as fertility treaments and what avenue we'd be comfortable with taking. Its pretty much just getting a lot of info from the doctor and the doctor getting a lot of history from you. Best of luck to you

Re: My first RE appointment
Same as with Daisy, but mine also gave me an exam and a bunch of prescriptions for tests. I think what they do that day also depends on where u r in your cycle. I was very nervous B4 my appt and felt a million times better afterwards....the dr gave me hope and a plan! Good luck...let us know how it goes!

Re: My first RE appointment
Good luck! You may want to consider bringing a copy of your medical records from your original diagnosis and subsequent treatment.
