Sandals Jamaica?
Sandals has 7 properties at Jamaica. Does anyone have any experiences with any of them? Whitehouse seems to get the most comments and reviews. We're considering a week in Jamaica in May. All opinions and comments welcome!! TIA!

Re: Sandals Jamaica?
We went to Sandals Whitehouse for our honeymoom 2 years ago. It was gorgeous and amazing. The only problem is that it is a 2 hour herrendous ride from the Montego Bay Airport. We stayed at Sandals Royal carribean last year for our 1 year anniversary and it was great too. Not as nice as the Whitehouse but still top quality and it is 10 minutes from the airport. We are going back to sandals royal carribean next week for our 2 year anniversary and we are looking forward to another great week. If you have any specific questions about either resort I would be more than happy to answer them. Good luck with your decision!!

Re: Sandals Jamaica?
We LOVED whitehouse. We stayed their almost 4 years ago on our HM. It only opened a few months before we went. It was just beautiful and relaxing. The staff treated us like royalty. We visited other sandals properties on our way to excursions we took and we weren't that impressed. We would def. stay at whitehouse again someday.
The bus ride was long but it was more like a tour of the island in a sense. Our driver was interesting and pointed different things out to us on the way.

Re: Sandals Jamaica?
We didn't stay there, but stopped by on one of our tours. It is pretty secluded and far away from the towns and activities of Negril. We stayed at Couples Swept Away for our honeymoon a few years ago and were very happy.

Re: Sandals Jamaica?
I can tell you my Sandals St. Lucian Grande experience, which I'm sure is similar since it's the same franchise.
There were 3 resorts on St. Lucia...we chose the top-end resort since it was our HM and wanted to go all out. I am glad we did! Put it thsi way..you get what you pay for. NOT that the other two weren'tnice, they WERE, just downgraded in some aspects.
The ride to the resort was SO long, dangerous and we really thought we were going to die SEVERAL times :( HTH

Us too! Couples Swept Away was EXCELLENT, we also did Couples Sans Souci. Highly recommended.
