I think I'm stimming slow
My follies are still small in the 10 range..one is a little bigger but not dominant.
I saw Dr. Goldshlag in LI this morning. He says most likely not before week's end.
As long as my estrogen rises he says it's fine. If it drops then no.
I know everyone is different. Today is day 8. I know the EPP protocol is a long one but I can't help but worry that it's not going well.
THe IVF nurse the other day said that this is a long stimming protocol. My cousin said it could be 14 days..ok, then I have 6 more days to go.
Hopefully my estrogen will rise and the follies will grow.
I just hope I don't get canceled before I even start.

 My first IVF cycle I stimmed for either 13 or 14 days. Stay positive!

I was a long stimmer - I stimmed for 13 days! I was right about where you are in my stimming cycle for IVF. My RE always joked that my follicles were always slow to start, but finished with a bang.
It doesn't matter how long it takes... remember, it's all a means to an end, and that's what counts

Hey there, I stimmed for 14-16 days on EPP. Once they get bigger than 10 it goes very very fast. Go to acupuncture, mine always changed a lot the next day. Stay positive. Its a long 2 weeks of stimming.

I had such a crappy day today. My left ovary is quiet. I went to acu tonight and she did a session to get them going.
The IVF nurse said to come back Sunday so I will be there for bw and US. I called for Dr. Davis and he was gone but left a message to say what is going on.
I went to my colon/rectal doc today for an issue I was having and sure enough I have an infection and have to go on antibiotics. He called Davis and got him on the phone in 2 minutes. He wanted to make sure the drugs were ok. I was impressed.
So add that to my slow moving ovaries.
Please send some prayers that I get to give this cycle a try. I'm not feeling very positive.
On one up note the antibiotics I will be on for 7 days and that may even make my gut feel better since I've been having some Crohns flares.

Anti-biotics wont do any harm. May even help.
The whole process is very frustrating, especially when we are older.

yep. It's hard to hear others who pop up many follies. I know I'm not going to have 8 but maybe 4-5 would be nice.
Maybe by Sunday there will be some more action.
Estrogen went up. It's doubling every other day since it was low after the patch. Dr. Goldshlag said that they go by estrogen but ya gotta have follies.
Hey I get a day off tomorrow.
Hoping for better news.
