Re: How judgemental are you?
Judgemental: Of, relating to, or dependent on judgment: a judgmental error. Inclined to make judgments, especially moral or personal ones: a marriage counselor who tries not to be judgmental.
Opinion:
A belief or conclusion held with confidence but not substantiated by positive knowledge or proof: “The world is not run by thought, nor by imagination, but by opinion” (Elizabeth Drew). A judgment based on special knowledge and given by an expert: a medical opinion. A judgment or estimation of the merit of a person or thing: has a low opinion of braggarts. The prevailing view: public opinion. Law. A formal statement by a court or other adjudicative body of the legal reasons and principles for the conclusions of the court.

Re: How judgemental are you?
personally I think being judgemental helps us form who we are.
You judge the way people other people 'live' and make unconscious judgements about how you want to be or live your life ...
am I off base?

Of course it helps is form who we are.. I completely agree with you. I take everyones inventory ... If how they live there lives if I don't like it I don't get involved nor do I surround myself with them.

Is it wrong to be judgemental?
I don't think it's really a good quality to possess, but I don't think it's as bad if you keep your judgments/opinions to yourself.

I think because being judgemental has a stigma that goes along w/ it & we don't associate being judgmental as being a good thing.

I think it's all in how the word is perceived. I think we are all judgemental, looking at the definition that was posted, or how you were describing it. Everyone takes in what they see and experience around them and decides how they will let it affect their life and choices.
I think many people perceive the word as negative when you take those experiences or impressions and force your judgements and decisions on other people, or expect them to live up to your expectations, rather than expectations they set for themselves. At least that's how I see it.

You always said things very eloquently. I couldn't have said it better and I agree so much with your statement.
