Re: Pump in Style vs. Pump is Style Advanced
yes i just bought a pump last week and the pump in style is for occasional use where as the pump in style advance is for everyday use. the motor on the advance will last longer and was told that the advance pumps in less time then the regular one there is a big difference in price one is 249 and one is 319 i went for the more expensive one since this isnt going to be my last kid, i feel like i never have time and i wanted a more reliable one. i did get the shoulder advance instead of the backpack. im not going to be walking around too often with a breast pump on my back. thought the shoulder one was better. good luck. by the way baby bargins rated the advance on an A+

Re: Pump in Style vs. Pump is Style Advanced
The PISA is the newer model. It is supposed to pump in a rhythm that is closer to how a baby would s u c k. For the first 2-3 minutes it is a quicker pump and then automatically switches to a letdown mode. (you can also press a button to change the mode as well). I had the PISA and thought it was great, but I have heard of others with the regular PIS and liked it as well.

I had a PISA. BOTH are for everyday use. The PISA is just a new model. Honestly, NO pump is the same as a latched baby. I love my PISA and am glad I got it but I have never heard anyone say that they didn't like their PIS.
