2nd trigger???

I'm going for my 1st ER tomorrow morning. I triggered last night with Novarel. This morning they had me come in to see if the trigger was in my bloodstream. It was but the levels weren't high enough.

They prescribed me a regular HcG (the kind you have to mix) and told me to administer tonight at 9pm. Fine.

When I asked what the ramifications of this were the NP (Susan at RSNY SB office) said that it is unlikely, but that if the eggs aren't releasing tomorrow morning, they would do only one side and have me come back on Monday for a second ER.

Has anyone ever been through or heard of this? I have never heard of this, but a close friend (who is pg with IVF twins), said that on 3 of her 4 IVFs, they had her trigger twice, but they never said anything about a possible second ER.
