what are the different level NICU levels of the hospitals on the island? where can i find out this information?

I can tell you that Stony Brook is the ONLY level 3 NICU (highest level of care) in Suffolk County. I'm not sure about Nassau county

New York breaks them down to 4 categories - Highest being Regional Perinatal Centers - places like - Columbia Presbyterian, LIJ and several others. Followed by Level III, then Level II and finally level I.

I knew North Shore and LIJ were Level 4 NICUs but I thought that Winthrop was level 2.
Glad to hear that especially since I am delivering there
