Which Doctor?

I am sick. Throat killing me since yesterday (but gotten worse today)
Should I see my regular MD or call the OB first?
I think it may be strep.

I would see your regular Dr but check with your OB before taking anything if he/she gives you medicine. You can always call the OB's office and let them know that you have (whatever it is that the PCP says you have) just so they know in case they have special instructions for you.

My PCP for example won't let me take anything including antibiotics without checking with my OB first.

I went to me regular Dr on Monday.. where she told me I had a sinus infection. Something I dont think my OB would have told me, since I was in his office that morning also.

She gave me a list of meds that are ok during pregnancy.. and Zithromax for an antibiotic which is totally fine.

I would say your primary care physician. Feel better.

Thanks! I just called the OB and the nurse said I can totally go see my pcp. Also that Zithromax is OK and any type of penisulin is OK. She said if he proscribed anything else then to call and check!!
