should I just book it?- please advise especially if you own a timeshare
I am not sure if I should book a trip to Virginia for April break. I can do an exchange with our timeshare (a week is going to expire at the end of May) but the unit is not ideal. We went last year to the same place and had a great 2 bedroom, but the resort has a 1 in 4 rule, which means you can't book into the same section more than once every 4 years. I can book another section, which is supposed to be equally as nice, but it only has a partial kitchen (no stove), which would kind of suck. My other option is to wait until last minute deals come up for that date- they only post 8 weeks in advance. If it were available I would be able to book any unit I want since it's not an exchange. The downside would be if nothing comes up, I would most likely lose this one available unit. We don't "need" to take this vacation, it would just be a nice extra trip. My sister and I would go with our kids for the full week and DH and my BIL would come for a few days to play golf. So should I book what's available or hold out?
