My sister has been going to Ocean's Edge resort in Chatham with her kids for years. They go every Summer and we are joining them this year.

Re: Cape Cod

My family used to go for 1-2 weeks every summer for several years back in the late 80's early 90's. We used to stay at Ocean Edge - my parents would rent a 2 bedroom condo there. I highly recommend it - I heard it hasn't changed much. DH and I were thinking of going at the end of this summer with our DD and the baby. It is in brewster not chatham but chatham isn't far and it is a great little town to go explore and window shop!!!

It is a great area - right on 2 golf courses with lots of paths to walk, indoor and outdoor pools and in a great location.

Here is a site where you can see pictures and rent there:

If you get a change check out - Emack & Bolio's - it has the BEST ice cream shops - there are several on the cape but there is one in Chatham and one in Orleans (the town near Ocean Edge). They are PACKED at night with families.

They are also lots of family shows (story telling and puppet shows) that they advertise in the local papers.

Re: Cape Cod

We stayed at Red Jacket Resorts in South Yarmouth last summer and it was great. It was close to downtown Hyannis, and we went there every night.
