Re: disney world
We are taking Jeremy (just turned 4 - 1/14 birthday) and Lucas (turning 2 - 2/9 birthday) to Disney on Wednesday. They won't remember a birthday party at home so why not spend time as a family and go enjoy yourself Jeremy gets it, Lukie says "MOUUUSE" but has no idea that in 3 days we will see mouse in person. Feb can be tricky. Our weather is going to be from 65-80 for highs and 65-40 for lows. Packing for every month!! Best time for weather is probably around early May. Jan/sept/dec are value months that is why we are going now.
We stayed at the Poly last time on the monorail was really nice with the stroller and this time we will be at the Wilderness Lodge, I thought it looked really pretty. The hotel depends on what you want to spend. Good luck!

i would say it's too young... JMO. It's a great place, but a big expense by the time you add airfare, hotel, entrance to the parks, etc. you and DH will love it, but I would wait til she is a bit older so she can really enjoy it and remember it.

I don't agree. We took DD at 2, and now at 4 1/2, she still talks about it.
We are going back in Sept, she will be 5, and DS will be 1.

It just depends on your point of view, and what kind of experience you are looking for. You can certainly take a child of 2 to Disney and have a wonderful time. There will be those important, magical moments that they will enjoy and will remember. I know my daughter did!
The weather can vary quite abit this time of year, but I personally like to avoid the real hot days, so to me it's worth taking a little chance on having one or two cool days.
With regards to accommodations, it al depends on what fits your lifestyle and budget. Value resorts are lowest in price, but have the smallest rooms and fewest amenities. Then you can step up to a modeerate resort, and then up to a deluxe. Each step up adds the amenities available, but also adds tot he cost. It's just a personal choice.

Re: disney world
Our dd has been 2 times already she is is only 4- it was a blast both times- she was a little afraid of the character's
don't forget under the age of 3 is free in to the parks- and they have a wonder options where you and your husband can ride the big rides and switch off after one has gone with out standing on the line again.
Enjoy

Re: disney world
We have gone every year since my oldest son was born and I think 2 is a great age there. You just have to plan your days accordingly and allow for plenty of downtime --we always made sure to spend one day just around the hotel at the pool, and many days we went to the parks for just a few hours. Lots of kids fall asleep in strollers so they can get naps in and then you can stay at the parks longer. Also, at the MK, there are a couple of playgrounds that are great places to let your child run around and just play. The characters can be kind of scary for some so be prepared for that. We found that by booking a character breakfast early in the trip our children were much more accustomed to them and not so afraid. The best thing about 2 is that they are still free in the parks so I think it is a great time!
