OK now I'm a little worried
I had my IUI on Thursday 1/15 so yesterday I decided to poas knowing that it would be a false positive because of the HCG shot I had the day before the IUI. I did that because I figured I would poas till the positive disappeared that way I knew the HCG was out of my system...that way I could start testing for real. Anyway I poas last night (7 days after I had the hcg) and the test was neg. I thought for sure the hcg would still be in my system. Now I'm worried that the shot didnt work for me at all. Or maybe they didnt give me enough. On the flip side do you think its possible for the shot to be out of my system after only 7 days?

Re: OK now I'm a little worried
everyone's body metabolizes the hcg differently. I never tested to see when the trigger left my body, but when i got pregnant with the twins i had a very faint bfp 9dpiui. I'm still not sure if that was real or the trigger. I got a much darker bfp 12 dpiui.

Re: OK now I'm a little worried
Me too. I don't absorb it well, probably because of my weight. I think I remember poas once within 3-4 days of trigger and no line. But the hcg was in my system for triggering, b/c my RE checks blood the next day and enough was there.

I wish my RE would have done blood after the shot like yours did just to make sure. I would have felt better.
