Need help!!! We might have a house!!
DH and I have not been seriously looking yet about buying a house....Well, a HUGE opportunity has presented itself...My Aunt and Uncle own a house in a very desirable town and they aren't putting the house on the market until we look at it....If we like it, we are going to buy it....Since its not through a real estate agent, what are the steps that we need to take...Thanks!!!
ETA: We are clueless in what we have to do because we thought we wouldn't be buying a house until next year!!!

I would first get an engineer to inspect it, then get a lawyer to draw up the contracts.

thats all you need... a lawyer... and they need a lawyer... and contact a broker for a mortgage...
and its ur decision if you want an inspection..
