Re: Insomnia

YES.

Since I found out I was pregnant my sleep has been very disrupted (mostly because of getting up to pee so much).

However, for the last month I haven't been able to get to sleep before 3AM. It is SOOO frustrating. I hope it changes soon cause I can't take much more of it!

I'm still fairly early (6 weeks tomorrow) and have been waking up at 4 and can't sleep for more than 20 minutes at a clip after that. Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Insomnia

I'm right there with you. I have no issues falling asleep. It's the staying asleep that I'm having problems with. Some nights I make it through okay. Most others, something wakes me up either every hour and it's tough to get back to sleep or I'll wake up at 2 or 3 and not be able to get back to sleep until 7...which is when I wake up for the day!

Yes! I'm constantly exhausted & I feel like I could sleep for a week straight, but when I lay down, I have the hardest time finally falling asleep Chat Icon

Re: Insomnia

Yes... I have no problem falling asleep (usually out by 8 or 9)... but it's staying asleep that is the problem for me. The first few times I get up to pee are fine, but by the 4th or 5th time, I end up not being able to fall back to sleep for like 2 hours.Chat Icon

I have it BAD. I am so exhausted so I try to go to bed early then get up 4 or 5 times a night to pee and my sleep quality sucks. It is such a light sleep. I wake up every 20 minutes Chat Icon Usually I start sleeping well at 6am but I have to get up at 6:20 Chat Icon

In the first trimester I had trouble sleeping. I ended up taking all caffiene and surgar out of my diet after 3 pm. It helped.

I'm the same way. Some nights I sleep like a baby, and some nights I'm up all night long. Last night was one of those 'up all night' nights. No fun at all.

My insomnia only started about a month ago though...really when the second trimester rolled around.
