What would you wear over this dress?

I bought it for an upcoming vacation as a casual dress to wear to dinner with nice flip flops (the material is knit, sort of tee-shirt like). Normally I just bring a cardigan but it doesn't look right with the neckline of this dress. I tried it on with a wrap I have and feel like it made it look dressier than I want to be. Should I just go with some kind of wrap? Any other ideas?

I'd go with a wrap or a denim jacket. Maybe a v-neck cardigan.

Why do you have to wear anything over it?
If it's chilly, I'd grab a "pashmina" or something... not specifically with sleeves that you'd "wear"

ITA.. and get a fun color.. like hot pink or lime green (im assuming you got the black one though)

We're going to Aruba and I usually get chilly at night b/c of the wind. The wrap I tried was pashmina like, I guess..but sort of a sheer fabric. Maybe if I went for something more substantial it wouldn't gussy it up so much

thanks ..I never tried a v-neck cardigan but will tonight. If not that, then I think a pashmina is the way to go!
And yes, it's a cute dress!

I'd wear my denim jacket over it, then take it off once I got into the resturant.
