Think it's a sign- or coincidence?
Without revealing our baby names... Our girl name has been everywhere lately... I feel like I have been watching a couple of random tv shows, and there is someone with that name, etc., as well as some other things....
Is this a sign that we will have our own little ____ very soon?? Not too much longer and we will know if we are team  or team  !!

i personally believe in signs...but that's just me.
for awhile when we were debating girls names - emma or paige...we were in the car on the way to NY from NJ...and no joke here, every other cars' plate started with E...i was like, OKAY, WE GET IT!!!!!
I counted 40 plates starting with E - that's one heck of a co-inky-dink.

yeah, I am a little annoyed that my name is not as "obscure" as I was hoping it would be-- I am not changing it as we had it picked out a looooong time ago.
I like both of your names-- in fact one of them is our middle name! I had that picked out for even longer--- after my orthodontist's daughter. I always LOVED the name... And the last time I had any braces I was in 6th grade. A VERY long time ago.

I know what you mean on the not changing thing...but for me the name i always loved is now associated with a few people i'd rather not have in my mind when I call out to my daughter...
Though - Dave has now thrown Ashley into the mix...he did NOT like that Emma is in the top 10 - i should've kept my mouth SHUT...but i didn't think it would bug him! But - as i said before...those signs that night - that was just too much...so i know in my heart, i want Emma..

Oh my goodness, this has been happening to us as well.
We are on team green as well and our boy's name has been popping up on several occasions. Whether it be a character's name in a movie/tv show or in a commercial.
I often wonder if that means we will have a boy.
We hardly hear our girl name. In fact we have had the hardest time coming up with a middle name for the girl.

it could be! we chose a very uncommon name for our girl name. i just got a magazine recently and guess what was in it - an advertisement for "mom" business cards (to give to other moms for play dates) and the example had "bethany (my name), mom to [our girl's name]" and was in our wedding colors. i've been feeling girl so i'm thinking that was a sign.
i think there might be something to it - do you have any feelings one way or another?

I swear there is some collective think going on when it comes to baby names. I had picked our names a long time ago and they were not popular at all. Now one the boys names that we discarded as our first choice is EVERYWHERE. Every time I hear though, it makes me think I am having a boy.

We had our names picked for awhile. Before we found out the sex, we would see our boy's name all the time (and it's not a common name). Now we found out that we are having a boy. I think it's definitely a sign!
