Did anyone not like acupuncture?

I'm sure this has been asked before, but did anyone not like acupuncture?

I only went for 1 session, but I didn't really feel like its for me. I think my problem is that I have a really hard time sitting still and "relaxing."

But I am feeling guilty that I didn't really give it a "chance."

Did anyone else feel this?

I went for a few months-It was alright, didn't help me get pregnant

I liked the people in the office they were calming. I am decided whether to go back or not

I got to know my doc before. I had conversations with her a lot before and during the sessions and after. Maybe that helped me.

It was a challenge to relax especially during the work day. Now I'm going to see a doc that is local so I'll do it after work.

I just had this conversation with DH and basically I started off with "I dont know how anyone can think that acupuncture is relaxing." First off i hate laying on my back...just dont like it...not comfy for me at all...i sleep on my stomach and in the summer my back is much more tanned than my front for exactly that reason....so sitting on a table, on my back, still for 30+ minutes, with needles in me, waiting for my time to be up, is not relaxing. I am pretty sure last week was my last session (especially since I messed up and forgot about my appointment tonight)

I was able to relax when I had it, I liked the acupuncturist, but it seemed to do nothing for me at all. I had 2 cancelled cycles due to low or no response to meds. So I ditched it, I really didn't feel different afterward, I felt I was throwing money away.
