registry question

If your shower isn't for another month and your registry has only about 50 items left would you just leave it and be thankful for whatever extras you recieve? Or would you add a few small items you could use later on in the babies lives? THANK YOU!

Thank You...I thought the same thing but didn't want to appear greedy. I know we will eventually have to buy these babies clothing but why rush it LOL

Re: registry question

Aren't you having twins? I'd think you'd have plenty to put on your registry since you will need double of everything. For example, a normal person may need two convertible car seats (1 for DH's car; 1 for mom's car). You could register for 4.

I am having 1 child and already bought a bunch of stuff already. I really didn't have enough items to put on the registry and DH was against adding diapers, wipes, formula (what he considers not real gifts) on the registry. I added a lot of items that I personally think are completely unnecessary but I'd rather receive items that I wouldn't mind having vs totally unwanted items. I have registry items enough to last me until this kid is in nursery school.

Re: registry question

Yes I am having twins....
The thing is I got alot of help from other twin mommies that you really don't need 2 of everything...we don't need 4 infant seats just 4 bases..our convertible car seats were already purchased .. I wasn't .I registered for somethings in 2's but cannot expect people to buy $120 swings so I tried to keep it limited. Thank you for your help..decided to add a bunch of small items.
