I really need some help over here...
We're trying to wean Joseph to the bottle. He did fine last week and took it no problem. As of this week he just will not take it AND he's not nursing well. Last night he woke up every 1.5hrs crying which is SO not like him. As of today I'm decreasing his fruit/veggies and cereal because I want him to take either formula or BM more. Do you think it's teething? I'm scared he's not eating enough.
I just feel like everything I do I'm doing wrong...

It could be teething. We go through this with Miranda. Some days she's a great eater and other days its a struggle for her to get 20oz in. If its kind of random I wouldn't worry about it too much as long as he goes back to his regular eating in a day or two.

It's been a WEEK! I would say he's nursing only 3 minutes or so a side, sometimes only 1 side and only maybe 3x a day. Then it's like thanksgiving at night.

It totally sounds like teething. Alex did the EXACT same thing (they are, after all, twins, right?), for about 4 days. She refused the bottle and would barely nurse. She was taking in half of her usual milk and was particularly fussy, waking at least every 2 hours in the night. This lasted for about four days and then one morning I noticed a beautiful pearly white sticking out of her lower gum, and all was better after that!

at around the middle of the fifth month Antonio started doing that too. He wouldn't eat. I would worry and worry all day at work. I would call my mom and ask her if he ate yet. He went back to normal after a couple of days.
Sometimes I know he is hungry because he will excitedly start s******* from the bottle and then stop. I run the nipple part along his gums for a little and then he starts again.

EtA -at night he would PIG OUT!!!!!!!!!! gULPING 6-8 OUNCES IN ONE MINUTE. GO figure!

Joseph is doing the same thing. Last night was every 2 hrs again...I'll let it go another day or two but then something has to change!
