Wipes...
Is there a difference in wipes? I heard either on this board or parents there's a difference in diapers. I think they say Pampers is better for girls and Huggies for boys. Now I usually use the Cosco wipes ... Okay, I don't have kids, but they're great for cleaning the couch and other stains. Just seeing if I can still use the Cosco brand or is there a difference?
So much to think about when the baby comes! Wow!

Re: Wipes...
We always used the Costco (Kirkland) wipes with my DD, with no issues.
There's no particular brand of diapers that's the very best - it really all has to do with your baby's shape. You just have to experiment a little and find the ones that work best for your little one. We always found huggies worked best for our little girl... but she's shaped like a froggy

Awe! Thanks... Oh, and love the Kirkland. I've gotten wipes b/c they're great for the home and Kirkland never really dries out. I have a dog so I use it to wipe down the couch since he like to slobber sometimes. LOL

Re: Wipes...
Its all personal decision. My sister told me huggies were best for girls and pampers best for boys .. so when pregnant with dd I got all huggies. Then used them and they stunk with her.. went to pampers and they rocked. And now just tried Luvs and lovin them even more. As the baby grows different diapers work out better than others..
Same with wipes.. what someone loves is different than others. For me I loved pampers wipes, I tried huggies once and they were too thick for me to really clean dd and left fuzzies all over her. I never tried costcos but im sure they would do fine. I also didnt use wipes for a few months, i did the whole bounty towels with soapy water until I felt i need something more sturdy to clean her tushie with.

Re: Wipes...
Personally I've heard great things about the Costco brand. I have a ton of wipes from my shower & gifts, so I'll use those, then head to costco. I've never heard that one brand is better for boys and vice versa.

Re: Wipes...
I always use the BJs brand wipes for DD. Honestly, I like them soooo much better than the Huggies & Pampers wipes.
As for diapers. I hated Huggies. They all leaked. I loved the Papmpers when she was in Newborn & size 1 (the swaddlers) then we switched to Luvs & those were by far my favorite out of all the diapers we had used.

For DS I hated Huggies. He always leaked through. He does GREAT with Pampers..He did great with the Swaddlers and is going great with the Cruisers.
As for wipes, I love the Pampers Sensitive wipes. To me, the Huggies are a bit rough/stiff.

I used to use pampers sensitive but I switched to Kirland (costco) ones a long time ago and never looked back. They are nice and soft, hypoallergenic, no alcohol etc. They are larger and stronger than the pampers ones and cheaper too!

Re: Wipes...
I use the Kirkland wipes and we've had no issues. I can't remember which wipes (either Huggies or Pampers) the hospital used, but DS got a horrible diaper rash from them.
