Bowling?

Let me start by saying- I don't even really like bowling.

DH decided he wants to go bowling tonight with a bunch of friends. It is 25 cents a game after 9.

Is it safe to go bowling at just over 6 weeks? Or should I sit this one out...

Re: Bowling?

i went on my birthday - i was about 14/15 weeks along. i was only able to bowl one game - i definintely noticed a stain on my stomach muscles!! but that could also be because i was showing already.

if you're not 100% sure you want to, i would sit out Chat Icon

Re: Bowling?

I bowled during my 1st pregnancy and Im bowling again. Im on a weeknight league. My OB says its ok, but, he recommended I stop around 23 weeks or so, or, as soon as I get uncomfy.
We bowl 3 games. Im 17 weeks along and I definitley feel it by the 3rd game.
Try one game, if you;re not comfy, then just stop. Don't push yourself.Chat Icon

Re: Bowling?

Oh - you can go bowling !!!
I wouldn't use a 20 lb bowling ball Chat Icon but it's perfectly fine to pick up a ball and throw it down the lane !!

Have a good time !!

Re: Bowling?

Funny my sister-in-law's bday was on Saturday and they all decided to go bowling, I went but didn't bowl. I was too nervous I am 8 weeks and just didn't feel comfortable doing it yet until I go to the doctor this Thursday and I know everything is going smoothly! Call me paranoid!
