Anyone used Dr. Stelling Repro Assoc of LI
Has anyone seen/gone with Dr. Stelling at Reproductive Associates of Long Island?

Yes, Ihave seen Dr. stelling, although Dr. Cain is my primary inthe group. I like him very much, he is personable and very knowledgable.

Thank you. Do you feel there is any reason to go w/ San Roman? Dr. Stelling talks very fast and I often leave confused. How is San Roman w/ that?

I go to RSNY and Dr. Stelling is my main doctor. I LOVE HIM!!!! They are always so comforting and positive about my chances of conceiving. He is also pretty good at remembering I'm not just a bunch of malfunctioning female parts, but instead a stressed out patient who wants this very badly.

As I posted above, I go to RSofNY and my doctor is Dr. Stelling (who I love). But I think its who YOU feel more comfortable with. All the doctors there are competant and all bring different things to the table. Realistically however, no matter which doctor you pick, you are not always going to see that doctor for every visit. During my last IVF stim cycle I saw Dr. Stelling less than half of the time. The other times were with SanRoman, Dr. Cain and the "new guy." When I used to go to the St. Brook office I rarely saw a doctor. I would regulary se the PA Dawn. I have had three egg retrievals and two transfers and have never had Dr. Stelling do any of them. Dr. Sagatokos (sp?) did two, Dr. Bray did one, Dr. Cain did one or two and Dr. San Roman did one. Same thing for my IUIs. So to summarize, you really need to like ALL the doctors to a certain degree. While Dr. Stelling can talk fast at times, if you have any questions or dont understand something just ask him. He is more than happy to explain things to you until you get it.

Update!
I am in my first round of IVF (toward end of stim cycle). I chose Long Island IVF, Dr. Kenigsberg. I'll be back to update how this cycle goes. Hopefully I'll be preggers!

You can see from my avatar that my update is a happy one. Dr. Stelling got me pregnant (wait, that sounds bad!  ) in February with my first IVF cycle.
I did 6 IUIs only because my insurance company required it before they would pay for IVF. Dr. Stelling would have moved me on after 3-4 IUIs.
I went back and visited the WI office of RSNY two weeks ago to bring them breakfast. I think of them every day and thank God for those wonderful people.

Congratulations!
I am so happy to hear your good news. I never tried IUI. We went straight to IVF. Doing well so far, looking forward to ER in a few days.
I love to hear good IVF news!

Dr. Stelling was my Dr for my last IVF. DH and I really liked him and trusted him. Like Domino said, you need to be sure you are comfortable with ALL of the Drs/NPAs in this group as you will rotated through all of them. We didn't fully understand that until we were well into our cycle and for me, it was though because I personally wasn't comfortable with all of them (I'm picky :) ). But, they obviously do good work there... GOOD LUCK!!

Update:
Well, ladies! IVF worked for me the first time. Thank you Long Island IVF (Drs. Kenigsberg and Brenner)!
I am 8 weeks along, due in April. I have seen my baby twice on ultrasound and my husband and I are in love. 
I wish everyone the best with their fertility treatments.

Stelling did my last cycle and we really liked him. However, we learned it was important to like all of the drs in the practice because you will see all of them... we ended up only seeing him at our transfer!
