Hiccups?
My baby has hiccups about 2x per day.
I am just about 35 weeks.
Is this normal?? Is it because he is swallowing too much amniotic fluid while 'practicing' breathing?
Thanks.

Re: Hiccups?
Lately mine gets the hiccups EVERY time I eat or drink something.
Lots more than 2x a day.
I think it's fine.

Re: Hiccups?
I posted this question last week!
My little one gets the hiccups after EVERYTHING I eat! And especially if I drink something cold.

Re: Hiccups?
My baby also gets them almost every time eat, but especially after lunch. He/ she didn't begin having them until about 31- 32 weeks, though.

Re: Hiccups?
I had posted a question about this recently as well. Im also 35 weeks and get them very often may 2-3 times if not more. Especially during the nite. I was told that its baby's way of practicing breathing and causes no harm.

Re: Hiccups?
Totally normal! During my first pregnancy, my DD had hiccups at least 5x a day. It continued after she was born. Now she is just over 2 years old and she still gets them if she has a hearty laugh.
