I am being really mean to DH
I almost feel bad..LOL. I just feel like he doesn't get what it feels like to be pregnant so he shouldn't get mad because Im tired or dont feel good. I havent felt "good" since I got pregnant, I wish he would just understand.
Does anyone else feel UGLY lately too. I feel pale, fat, my hair is horrible and my skin looks awful. I am in sweat pants 90% of the day bc i feel gross...i think i take that out on my DH too.

Completely understand what you are feeling. I used to always wear make up and get ready, but for the past 13 weeks I can not be bothered with getting dressed up. I never wear make up anymore, and my hair has been in a ponytail everyday. I look the way I feel- gross. I understand what you are going through. I also have been taking it out on Dh, but sometimes I feel like he doesn't get it.

Re: I am being really mean to DH
With my first pregnancy, I fought a lot with DH because he just didn't understand. Amazingly enough, I truly forgot how pregnancy alters everything, and for a long time too. There are times I catch myself thinking I wish I could just feel normal again, but looking back on my last pregnancy, and delivery, I remember that there's no such thing as normal going forward. Everything is altered for a while, as you're pregnant and as you deal with your post-partum body, and tending to a newborn, and the goal shifts then to finding a "new" normal. I think going through it the second time around, I'm finding it a little easier to deal with the emotions and ungrounded feelings.
Thankfully, too, my DH is tremendously more supportive and understanding this time around. And, well, dealing with a fiesty little baby really taught us how to communicate and appreciate one another more this time around.
Hang in there though - what you are feeling is totally normal

Re: I am being really mean to DH
i have ABSOLUTELY no fuse anymore. I go from perfectly fine to INSANE angry at the drop of a hat....literally. I couldn't find a pink hat i wanted to wear on saturday night and lost it....
I've explained to dave that i'm no longer steering this ship and it would be in his best interest to just 'take it' as opposed to fighting back when i'm in that state of mind...because arguing back with me - just makes it worse...whereas the few times he's shut up and taken it, i've apologized because i've felt HORRIBLE within 5 minutes of the problem.
you're not alone hon...not even close!

Re: I am being really mean to DH
I know what you mean, I am just almost 10 weeks and I have just been so tired lately. I have just enough energy to get myself out of bed, to think about what I am going to wear that day or think about putting on makeup it a little much these days. Im hoping the tiredness goes away or gives me a break soon. I feel bad for my DH.

Re: I am being really mean to DH
Yup. I am in my 13th week and have felt disgustingly unattractive for the past three months. You've said it: Fat, pale, gross skin, I don't even have the energy to blow dry my hair a lot of the time (and I have that kind of hair that really needs to be blow dried!) which makes me even more unattractive. Not to mention, there are only so many elastic waistbands I can wear.
DH has been doing pretty much everything around the house.

Re: I am being really mean to DH
They don't get it - For as much as they want to beleive they do, they just don't ........
Thankfully I have felt really good - And by nature I also have a tendency to push myself .......so, DH really hasn't been 'affected' by my pregnancy - w/ the exception of me going to bed @ 8:00 during the first tri - and getting up 10x to pee ..............I'm pretty much the same.
