Do you see the Belly Photo Contest advertisement on the right of the screen? ------------------------------------------------------------->
I think one of us should take a photo of their bruised, distended, needle-poked stomach and submit it for the contest. I dare you!
I'm back on BCPs for my never-ending IVF cycle, so I can't do it myself, dammit.

After my transfer, I literally looked pregnant. I probably changed outfits 5 times on Christmas Eve because my mom said people would definitely be asking if I was pregnant!

you're so funny! just tonight, as I was injecting myself with the third needle of the day, i thought, wow...all i can see are the needle marks from all the other shots!
i think we need our own contest!

I wish you said this earlier..I had a good old bruise that was purple/black and swollen and the size of an orange...I'd of won for sure!!

Ok, personally I'm ok w/ the contest. I'm all for pg ppl winning something that could save some $$$, and I love her photos! 
BUT b/c you dared me, AND b/c I love our board soo much that I want to give a good laugh wherever I can.... this one is for you Jen!   
BTW it is the only time you will EVER see my belly probably!  Notice the red marks on both sides of my tummy--- they were from my IVF cycle in July- from some of the subq shots (before they switched to IM) and then the ganirelix shots... ugh
On a side note- do you think I could win?  Is there an expiration on the contest?
ETA: I was laying down before the pic was taken, so I have extra lines on my belly... oh yeah, and my stomach is extra bloated b/c it must've been after transfer!  Image Attachment(s):

Mine was an unfortunate case of my DH being 'helpful'. I told him I could handle the subq shots, but he wanted to be part of our IVF experience I guess... He remembered that you 'dart' the needle in.... but forgot that was only for IM shots and NOT subq!   He felt terrible for weeks afterwards.  Now, looking back, it was kind of funny..... yeah, that's how you know when you're dealing w/ IF too long!
On a side note, Lisa, is that actually your stomach?? B/c if not I could still be the winner here!

Its the lovely combo of Follistim, Repronex, Microdose Lupron and Lovenox
Happens every time I stim...I bruise easily

WOW. I bruise really easily and NEVER had bruising from the subq shots. WOW. I did get some bruising on my arse from the IM shots, though. No photos of my fat arse will grace the pages of LIF, though
