Normally I'd say you could tell them now but if you've only been there for 2 months, I'd hold off if I were you. Personally I'd wait until I was starting to show. JMO.

Re: When to tell work?

I started a new job when I was 11 weeks and told my boss the same day I started because I felt like at least I could say I would be around for a good solid 6 months before going on leave and that I had every intention of coming back after it.

My boss though isn't someone I just met, she was my boss at another company 15 years ago (so I think having a prior relationship made it easier for me to tell her right away).

Re: When to tell work?

I would tell them soon... definitely within the next month, because like you said, if you tell at 20 weeks, it's pretty short notice.

I told my boss early because I was so sick, I knew someone would figure it out and blab it all over. He now calls me "Charlie Preggo". hahaha <3 him.

thanks ladies!

see ive been very lucky and havent been too sick. i was sicklastnight and had to go home early. and EVERYONE was guessing... "your pregnant" id feel so much better just saying yes!...lol
i figure id wait another 2-3 weeks. becuase i realy would feel guilty if i kept waiting. plus by the time the baby comes ill be there about 8 months. since i plan to work till the end. and then come back prob 4 moths after the baby comes!
