Hospital tour at South Side in Bay Shore

Has anyone did a tour there yet? Do you know if they require you taking any classes?

i just went last saturday. if you do the tour only you dont have to sign up, you just go to the main entrance at 8:50 (tour starts at 9) on any Saturday. They say you should take the C-section class in the event an emergency c-setion needs to be done. everything else is optional

I went a few weeks back and had a private tour with dh because we were late to the regular tour. You're not required to take any classes there, but as a pp said, they suggest you take the c-section class that is free. I didn't, but I did get debriefed by Wendi Andria when we took her private childbirth classes.

When are you due? I'm due in 15 days!!!

I'm actually taking a breastfeeding course there this Friday. You should check into it if you plan to BF!

OMG, 15 days, that's soon. How are you feeling? Do you feel like your all ready, or are freaking out. sorry for all the questions. I still have 79 days to go, lol. Due date is 3/28. I just feel like I'm behind in getting things done. So many girls on here have all there stuff together I feel I need to get my *** rolling.

Surprisingly, I'm not freaking out. Everything in my house is pretty much ready, and I'm just waiting for my water to break or for that nasty MP to appear. I'm confident that I'll be okay. I just can't wait to meet our little one!!!

The *only* worry that I have is about my two yorkies. I don't trust anyone that lives near me to take care of them when I'm in labor. As soon as the baby is born and everything is settled, I'm sending dh home to care for the dogs. I know it sounds ridiculous, but they are my babies, too.

As far as how I'm feeling, overall okay. You can read previous posts about my mishaps with every day occurences (wiping my asss for one...), but for the most part I'm doing just fine.
