How long does it take for BRU's registry to update that something has been bought?

I know items have been bought off my registry but the registry still says nothing has been purchased.

I know my friend got like quadruples of items at the end. I had assumed that this was due to last minute purchases but now I'm thinking it's because the registry doesn't get updated!

It should update pretty quickly. The things that I know have been purchased off my registry have been taken off already, but I've read in the past post people had lots of problems with that. I guess we'll all have lots of exchanging to do .
