Re: Sandals Bahamas
I went to the Royal Bahamian for my HM in 2007, but I went in March.
My TA told that the weather in the Bahamas is like that of southern FL, so if it's cold in FL, it will be cold in the Bahamas....it may mean you have to wear a sweater/cardigan at night.
I loved the resort - so many restaurants to choose from, lots of private areas to relax in, beach is super close and they have Sandals Cay a mile from shore for more privacy.
We took day excursions to Atlantis - casinos, aqauriums, etc, did the Dolphin Swiminng at Dolphin's Cay, you can go into town for shopping....can't go wrong!

Yes, I have heard all of this as well.
It is supposed to be a really nice property -- if you want something that will be warmer, b/c of the time of year you are going, check out the Sandals in Antigua or their Jamaica properties. They are supposed to be beautiful - especially Antigua, which was voted most romantic but also - I heard - that it is less expensive than the Bahamian property. Just a suggestion if you want hot, hot weather.
