thank god for all of you!

i feel like my dr doesnt tell me anything. I see all of your posts and all you ladies talk about things i have never heard of. I am 14 weeks pregnant and the only test my dr mentioned was the nuchal translucency which was not covered by my insurance. I just feel like i am in the blue about everything. do i really have to pull info out of my dr? She never even told me what i can and cant avoid, i never asked but assumed she would tell me, thank God for you ladies, id be lost. I have a whole list of questions because of you all to ask my dr on wed when i go.

Maybe you should switch to a new MD.

I have been wondering this myself, only thing is I live in VA and have no way of knowing who is good and who isnt...there really is no online support group, i looked. I picked this doctor bc it was close to my house and across the street from the hospital i will be delivering at. Im torn.

while those are good perks, its more important that you get the information and tests you need. And some one who is proactive, and that is an advocate for you and your baby.

Before you do anything, I would have a serious talk with your doctor and let her know your concerns. If after that you still don't feel heard, I would get a new doc.Chat Icon
