You bounce back pretty quickly from a vaginal delivery DD was in the NICU and I walked to see that same day after told told me I can move around

I was up a couple of hours after the baby was born. I was able to walk and shower with no problem. I was sore but nothing major.

As soon as the epi wore off, I was walking around and walked to the NICU from my room every 3 hours for feedings. One of my legs was incredibly cramped because I had to lie on my side for a while after the epi. The only way to get my leg feeling better was walking. Even though my stitches made me feel a little sore every time I got up and sat down, it didn't stop me from tending to DS or doing small things around the house. The day I left the hospital, I was out running errands at CVS and Target for last minute baby items.
