If the baby hiccups alot is that a sign of a problem. I think im just more observant now to them since i can actually feel them now. but it seems that 2 or3 times he has his little episodes. i know some sites says it can me a sign of distress. SHould i worry. I mean i always worry, lol thats why i love u girls.

Re: baby hiccups
I haven't heard about hiccups being a problem....but I can tell you now that my baby boy has flipped and is head down (like he's supposed to be :), I can feel him hiccuping about 2-3 times a day. It's such a funny feeling...especially since his head is so far down near my vajay... I hope it's nothing to worry about???

Re: baby hiccups
I've never read anything other than that hiccups are normal. DS had hiccups fairly often, especially towards the end.

it's funny, my little one hiccups about once a day, and it's like little vibrations in my whoha... it's hilarious!
I don't think there's anything wrong with the baby hiccuping... I think it's the baby's way of getting ready to be out in the real world soon.

Re: baby hiccups
My had hiccups all the time in my belly! She would have them sometimes up to 5 or 6 times per day. It's funny though, because now that she's here, she hiccups just as much!!!

Re: baby hiccups
It's not a sign of a problem. My DD had them all the the time in utero---I mean---maybe 6x a day, every day. She came out fine. However, when she really has a belly laugh, she does get the hiccups now at over 2-years-old. They don't bother her in the least.

Re: baby hiccups
has hiccups at least 2x a day. I do not think it's a problem! When I had my growth sono, the technician told me that hiccup is a sign that baby is practicing to breathe on her own.. so that's good!
ETA: speaking of hiccups, she's having them now
